I love home and neighborhood ranking tool Revaluate for its snarky wordplay (like “Mr. Clean lives nearby” for environmentally friendly areas), but the entire package of deep, dependable community data, sharp visuals and location granularity tell me it’s a great resource for the real estate industry.
Now the company has launched Revaluate Pro, which is doing the same bit of data cleansing and ranking for your database.
(If the tool is new to you, catch up with last year’s review.)
Don’t have a database? It’ll do that for you, too.
How it works
Revaluate Pro probes your Google or Office Pro account; after the 10 seconds of processing, it has collated your contacts and ranked the top five or 10 prospects most likely to be ready to move.
The software scrubs your list, removing suspicious contacts and ranking what’s left.
The final report comes to you via email as .csv file after an hour or so and can be connected directly to a CRM or accessed in Revaluate Pro’s interface.
Revaluate found just under 1,000 contacts in my account, a number I had no idea was feasible. I don’t keep a contact list.
But there they were, and while I didn’t share this with CEO Chris Drayer during the demo, one of the highest ranked returns is a personal friend who is indeed looking to move soon.
The database builder accesses the same network of public and social media-based data sources to assemble its rankings.
It also uses a process called “fingerprinting,” in which a contact’s web use is monitored according to browser type, screen resolution, email open timing, IP address and a host of other digital metrics.
All these figures help assemble the puzzle that is your database.
Who’s it made for?
Users of Revaluate Pro will find it compatible with Happy Grasshopper, Altos, Follow Up Boss, Contactually and a host of other CRMs.
Drayer argued Revaluate Pro is equally beneficial for experienced agents as it is newbies in search of their first few prospects.
While I agree the software is indeed valuable to real estate agents of all levels, the most challenging hurdle to overcome for the freshly licensed is who to call first — so they may find it especially useful.
Still, highly active agents are collecting new contacts all the time, and Revaluate Pro will assist them in managing their time with only the best of the new lot.
